For starters! Gee! Whiz! It has been a long time hasn’t it?!
Sending hugs and love to all!
Tis the Season of the Holidays Returning!
And Yes!
It does feel like 2024 came in and is leaving quickly!
Offering my condolences in advance for anyone whom has lost a loved one recently.
While I am dealing with the stages of grief pertaining to the lost of two loved ones recently, I share sympathy and compassion during this process for you. While I do recommend speaking to a medical licensed professional regarding any traumatic experiences, this blog entry is merely a shared experience dealing with lost of a loved one.
Trigger Warning.
What is Grief?
The definition of grief is deep sorrow, especially that caused by someone’s death.
While it is never easy balancing out the mixed emotions you may feel during this upcoming holidays, know that you are not alone and your loved one certainly loves you.
While it may not have been all sunshine and rainbows especially if that loved one was a grumpy bottom
Remember the GOOD and discard the old. While you and that loved one may not be able to change the past, you certainly can recreate the present and future.
Create a tradition dish that the loved one adored, sing some of you all’s favorite songs, play family movies and explain to the next generation who they were. Not all memories have to be dark. However, if you had a terrible experience with that loved one, no shame in it.
There are several ways to continue the legacy and love of that loved one.
And while you may not be able to fight back tears, release them anyhow.
Know that you are human and having feelings is okay.
It is okay to miss that loved one.
The important thing to remember as I tell myself this; you can always whisper a prayer to them and know they hear you.
The Most High hears you.
Trust.
I pray that these holidays seasons provide you with love, safety, unconditional joy and hugs to your heart from that loved one. I am also offering grief counseling to assist anyone who may need the support during this time. Let's heal together!
With love,
Violet Flower
