It is finally here!
Happy Spring to you all!
Is it the smell of fresh cut grass? Or is it feeling of dirt being tilled with your hands? Or is it the joy of those little faces that are out enjoying the breeze and good vibes of Spring Break?
Spring time does bring a sense of renewal and transformation.
If you are a hermit like me then spring time can only mean one thing for us introverts. Staying more introverted due to allergies or still wanting to avoid people. However, if you are a plant or flower lover, then going out means to get supplies.
So let us discuss the fact that Nature Heals.
Nature is a go to for healing. I love trees, flowers, sunrises and stars twinkling in the sky at night. If you work long hours until late, it can make you feel nocturnal or lazy. Nature heals with natural remedies such as sunlight, water, plants that grow food that nourishes and provide nutrients to our bodies. The next time you see a flower in the ground, thank God for it.
When was the last time you sat on a beach and watched the waves roll? Do you notice how you can feel at complete peace with the sounds of the waves crashing and seagulls flying above head? Have you watched the sun set in the desert and the moon shine brighter?
It reminds you that although you are one in a billion of a life force on this earth, you are able to capture beauty in this very moment. You can feel and sense beauty, peace and serenity when looking at a sunset or watching the stars in the sky. Listening to birds singing and or children laughing helps heal. Amazingly while sitting in the grass (apply some bug repellant aka thyme on btw) you can see life growing around you.The feeling of being present and free is a place to be.
And since we know that Nature heals, so do herbs. I have tried essential oils for various aromatherapy sessions, baths and even breathing treatments. Did you know that if you battle Vertigo, you can smell peppermint essential oil to help balance your equilibrium? Did you know that smelling Lavender helps to soothe and calm the nerves? These are just tools that I have learned from experience in helping others who had similar issues.
Of course always seek Medical Professional assistance and seek wise counsel on anything pertaining to your health. I love to suggest solutions based on experience and holistic modalities. What can I say? I love all that Nature provides.
What kind of environments are your go to places for peace and serenity? Where can you find a peace of mind? You cannot change the environment around you but you can change the environment within you. Always remember that you are in control of your day and essentially your life.
Let's welcome a season of rebirth and transformation starting with our comfort zones. Make each moment count by living your life. I mean really LIVE YOUR LIFE.
